Research

Petree has undertaken extensive research into the specific requirements of housing for retirement and specfic design requirements for ageing people.  The growth of the ageing sector of the Australian population and the alarming shortage of appropriate housing have resulted in much research into what people want and are able to achieve for their retirement years.  Petree's research in many ways have been reinforced by the excellent survey by the Flinders University Flinders Institute for Housing, Urban and Regional Research for ECH Inc. (see Sidebar)

Petree Management Pty Ltd

Petree Management's key personnel are those who answer the tenants' calls for assistance for minor maintenance issues, concern over security, a desire to do some gardening, need to know about some items of housekeeping costs or guidance on tenants' committee matters.

Petree designed dwellings

Petree's Eucalypt Units recognises that a large proportion of the older population has a strong preference for a smaller appropriately designed home that is within the community in which they have lived and with which they are familiar.  Petree has designed such a place that provides a sense of place, a sense of belonging, and a sense of security and is located near everything that is needed.
